Can you believe its been 6 months!!??

Happy 1/2 year birthday Brynne!! You are 6 months today, and I cant believe it! Everyone saids "They grow so fast" and its true! This it what Brynne is up to at 6 months:

- Sitting up
- rolling over from stomach to back..she has rolled from her back to stomach but she wont do it because she hates to be on her tummy
- Eats anything she can get a hold of
- Officially eats rice cereal, peaches, carrots, beans, prunes, sweet potatoes,and pears. She doesnt like the rice cereal though...she gags but eventually gets it down.
- She LOVES to suck on ice.
- She is addicted to her feet. She likes wearing her shoes on sucking on those to!
- She says ma mamamama when she is whining, I know its just the sound she makes, but I love it.
- She holds her own bottle
- Is trying to get the hang of her sippy cup
- Knows who her mama and daddy are..but will usually still go to anyone who will hold her!
- babbles, smiles and laughs all the time!
- Loves her giraffe and elephant toys the best...except for maybe moms cell phone
- sleeps through the night only sometimes no matter how many books I read.
- Loves swimming and baths and showers!
- Has this little fake cough she does when she is excited
- shakes her head from side to side when she is excited
- blows raspberries constantly.
- she is starting to get into things...she was playing on the floor the other day and I came back and she had somehow gotten everything out of her diaper bag!
- Plays peek a boo (how do you spell that?)
- stays in her stroller for the whole walk..usually.
- loud noised scare her
- Bangs what ever she has in her hand on the floor or high chair.
- at the Dr. yesterday she was 19.2 lbs 95th percentile.
- Has grown a substantial Mohawk!
- Is wearing 9-12 months clothes
- enthralled with watching people
- loves singing time in primary, and she likes to distract the primary kids from the lesson.
- has so much fun being bounced on the trampoline with dad!

Spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Broughton!

Taylor's Parents came to visit and Brynne got her first baby doll from grandma! She got to play with her cousins at Maddi's birthday party. Grandpa let her try her first BBQ, she sucked on a rib and some corn on the cob (I guess he saw her cheeks and decided that was a baby who needed some pork!) Yesterday for FHE we took Brynne to the Payson pool. It was so much fun, and after 7:00 its half off so it cost us $4.50 for us all!

A Bicylcle built for three!

Last week Taylor told me that he had planned a surprise for Friday night. How long had it been since I had really been surprised?? Anyways he got home from work and blindfolded me and we got in the car and drove around for what felt like forever! Finally we got out of the car and he un blindfolded me and I saw the grocery store Maceys??? I was confused! Then he turned me around and he had rented a tandem bike from byu and borrowed a baby trailer from Erica and Riley! I was so excited, I had always wanted to ride one of those. We got on the Provo river trail behind Macey's and then rode to Utah lake. It was such a pretty ride and Brynne was so good! It was starting to get late, so we started back and realized we had a flat tire..all good things must come to an end I guess haha! So we walked the 4 or 5 miles back to the car and by the time we got back it was 10:30 p.m. But it was just as pretty a walk as ride...although there were some pretty colorful groups of people on that trail after it got dark in south Provo (believe it or not) that were pretty creepy, so I was excited when we made it back to the car without being jumped. Thanks for the surprise Taylor!! You are the BEST :)

4th of July in Idaho

Happy 4th of July! We headed up from Rexburg on Friday, picked up Summer from the airport on our way, hung out with Carrie, Summer, Amber, and Justin that night, stayed and Suzanne and Troy's, went to the parade Sat. morning, had a BBQ and Suzanne and Troys for Lunch, went to Rigby lake that afternoon, went to Idaho Falls for the fireworks, went to Denny's with all our friends afterwords, woke up sunday morning and went on a drive to Mesa Falls, went to church, had dinner, went and visited Ali (her baby was born on the exact day as Brynne, just a few hours earlier) went and visited Grandma and George, left to go home, helped andrea with her flat tire on the freeway, got home at midnight last night! Pheww we packed as much in as we could and had SOO much fun! I miss Rexburg and my friends from BYUI so much, so it felt like old times, i loved it :)
